Step 3.  Plan your position on the wall. Using low tack tape, like masking tape you can position your Attachable and then stand back to view exactly [  ] where you want it.

Step 4.     Once you have your spot, mark the position points lightly on the wall with chalk or a soft pencil. It can be helpful to check things are straight with a level. (See tips below).

Step 5.   Peel away a small section of the white backing along the top edge only.

Step 6. Apply the sticky side to your wall starting from your marked position on the wall. Work from top to bottom. If a ripple appears, carefully pull back and re-apply. Your Attachable is designed to be re-applied a few times

Step 7.      Using a clean soft cloth gently push flat onto the wall, slowly pulling away the remaining plastic behind.

Step 8.      If your Attachable is in two parts, line up the second piece and begin again

Sticky tips!

  1. Some paint companies may add ‘Teflon’ to their wall finishes enhancing durability for cleaning. These finishes will prevent the adhesion of your Attachable. Solutions are to repaint the area in non-Teflon paint or sometimes sanding back the wall can help things to stick.

  2. Do not apply to fresh paint. Wait 2-3 weeks for your paint to ‘cure’.

  3. If you find a small air bubble when you have finished, you can easily pierce it with a fine sewing needle and push out the air.

  4. If you wish to re-use your Attachable later in another location, ensure you keep the packaging and original backing so it can be stuck back and easily transported. You can also use baking paper if the original packaging is no longer available.

  5. If you do not have a level but do have a smartphone, there are several free apps that will turn your phone into a level.
